Chennai, April 19 (NationPress) Director Prithviraj Sukumaran's highly praised film L2: Empuraan, the second chapter of the well-known Lucifer series, has impressively amassed Rs 325 crores in a span of 30 days, as claimed by the film's leading star Mohanlal on Saturday.

On his X timeline, Mohanlal shared a poster that prominently featured the words '30 days' and '325 crores,' stating, "A cinematic moment etched in history. We dreamed it with you, we built it with you. Malayalam cinema shines brighter today — together."

While fans of both the actor and the franchise celebrated this announcement with excitement, some on social media pointed out that the film had not yet reached 30 days, as it was only its 24th day.

L2: Empuraan, the sequel to the successful Lucifer franchise, premiered on March 27 this year. Despite facing various controversies, the film continues to perform exceptionally well.

Empuraan follows the story of Lucifer, which became a massive hit. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who directed the film, also portrays the role of Zayed Masood — a mercenary commando heading the notorious Kureshi-Ab’ram nexus.
