Have the Makers of Mahavatar Narsimha Finalized an OTT Platform?

Chennai, Aug 5 (NationPress) The creators of director Ashwin Kumar's recently launched animated feature Mahavatar Narasimha have urged the public not to heed rumors suggesting that the film is available on OTT platforms. They clarified that the film is currently screening exclusively in theaters.

In a statement posted on their X timeline, Kleem Productions, the studio behind the film, emphasized, "We appreciate the enthusiasm surrounding Mahavatar Narsimha and the speculation about its OTT release. However, at this time, the film is ONLY showing in theaters globally. No OTT agreement has been finalized. Please rely only on updates from our official channels."

They also released a poster stating, "Mahavatar Narsimha - Avoid the rumors! We are receiving a lot of inquiries regarding the film's release on OTT soon, but we must clarify: Currently, our film is ONLY available in theaters worldwide. We have not finalized any OTT platform yet. Please trust only legitimate updates from our official channels. Your support keeps the Sanatani spirit alive!"

The film, directed by Ashwin Kumar, is produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under the Kleem Productions banner. Released on July 25, it is available in five Indian languages.

For those unfamiliar, Hombale Films and Kleem Productions recently announced a lineup for this ambitious animated series, which will span over a decade, depicting the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu. The first installment, Mahavatar Narsimha, is currently in theaters and performing impressively. Following it, Mahavatar Parshuram is set to debut in 2027, followed by Mahavatar Raghunandan in 2029, Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh in 2031, Mahavatar Gokulananda in 2033, Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 in 2035, and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 in 2037.

Mahavatar Narsimha is a visual extravaganza that delves into a pivotal story from Indian mythology. It centers on Prahlada, a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu, who faces challenges from his atheist father, Hiranyakashipu, who was granted immortality by Lord Brahma. The narrative unfolds the birth of Mahavatar Narsimha, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, who descends to safeguard Prahlada.

With stunning visuals and an exhilarating score, the film has received acclaim from both critics and audiences.
