Los Angeles, Feb 24 (NationPress) The father of Hollywood actress-singer Lindsay Lohan, Michael Lohan, has been detained on a domestic violence allegation in Texas.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) reported that Michael’s estranged spouse, Kate Major, was at a medical appointment on Friday, February 21, when she spotted Michael, 64, in the parking lot of the facility, according to ‘People’ magazine.

A 911 call was made as she “was worried he was trailing her,” as noted in the email from HCSO.

Major, 42, then informed deputies that Michael had “flipped her out of a chair at their home a few days prior,” and HCSO validated that a female deputy witnessed bruising on Major’s body.

According to ‘People’, law enforcement stated they contacted Michael at his home that day, and he was “arrested without incident.” Michael faces a charge of Continuous Family Violence and is being held on a $30,000 bond, as per HCSO.

Michael had a prior arrest in 2020 for allegedly assaulting Major in Southampton, New York. A police statement from that incident claimed he became “verbally and physically abusive to the other party” at a residence in the area.

Michael and Major tied the knot in 2014 after their engagement in 2010. Major sought divorce in 2018 and requested sole custody of their two sons, Landon and Logan, at that time. This filing occurred one month post her arrest for allegedly throwing a candle at Michael, injuring his arm.

Florida prosecutors did not pursue charges, citing insufficient evidence. Michael was previously married to Dina Lohan from 1985 to 2007. Besides Lindsay, 38, they have children Michael Lohan Jr., 37, Aliana, 31, and Dakota, 28.
