Naseeruddin Shah's Acclaim is Shreya Chaudhry's Greatest Achievement

Mumbai, Dec 24 (NationPress) Actress Shreya Chaudhry, who plays a leading role in "Bandish Bandits Season 2", shared that the esteemed veteran Naseeruddin Shah's feedback and commendation of her performance stands as her greatest achievement.

Discussing her relationship with Naseeruddin Shah, who portrayed Panditji, Shreya expressed: “Naseeruddin Sir is my greatest source of inspiration. I gained immense knowledge from him during season one and was fortunate to observe him closely and participate in workshops alongside him.”

“Hence, receiving a message from Sir after he viewed season 2 is an honor of the highest degree. His feedback and praise regarding my performance is my greatest achievement. It’s deeply satisfying and reassuring, confirming that I am evolving as an actor.”

This musical drama, “Bandish Bandits”, features newcomers Ritwik Bhowmik as Radhe Rathod, a Hindustani Classical musician, and Shreya Chaudhry as Tamanna Sharma, a pop singer, who come from contrasting musical backgrounds.

It delves into the discussion of music as a discipline versus a form of liberation. The series also includes notable actors such as Arjun Rampal, Sheeba Chaddha, and Atul Kulkarni among others.

Previously, she acknowledged filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for instilling in her the belief that she could succeed as an actor.

“Imtiaz sir encouraged me to believe that I could be an actor! Collaborating with him reinforced that aspiration. It made me realize I could dream big and pursue this profession,” Shreya remarked about Imtiaz Ali’s short film, “The Other Way!”

She added: “I will always treasure my experience working with Imtiaz sir because the lessons I learned during our collaboration are truly priceless. I am just keeping my fingers crossed to someday be an Imtiaz Ali heroine.”

Shreya is set to appear next in actor Boman Irani's eagerly awaited directorial debut, “The Mehta Boys”, alongside Avinash Tiwary in 2025. The film narrates the story of a father-son duo embarking on an unplanned 48-hour journey, navigating conflicting viewpoints as they confront the complexities of their strained relationship.
