Mumbai, Dec 24 (NationPress) Actress Shreya Chaudhry, who stars in “Bandish Bandits Season 2”, stated that the renowned veteran Naseeruddin Shah's comments and accolades regarding her performance are her greatest accomplishment.

Reflecting on her relationship with Naseeruddin Shah, who portrays Panditji, Shreya remarked: “Naseeruddin Sir is my primary source of inspiration. I gained a wealth of knowledge from him during season one, and I was fortunate to learn from him and participate in workshops with him.”

“Receiving a message from Sir after he viewed season 2 is an utmost honor. His assessment and praise for my performance are my greatest accomplishment. It’s incredibly fulfilling and reassuring, instilling a sense of growth in my acting journey.”

This musical drama, “Bandish Bandits”, stars newcomers Ritwik Bhowmik as Radhe Rathod, a Hindustani Classical musician, alongside Shreya Chaudhry as Tamanna Sharma, a pop singer, who come from divergent musical backgrounds.

The series delves into the discussion of whether music serves as a discipline or a pathway to freedom. The cast also includes notable names like Arjun Rampal, Sheeba Chaddha, and Atul Kulkarni.

Previously, she had expressed gratitude to filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for instilling in her the belief that she could pursue acting.

She continued: “I will always treasure the experience of working with Imtiaz sir, as the lessons learned during that time are truly priceless. I’m just hoping to one day be an Imtiaz Ali heroine.”

Shreya is set to appear in Boman Irani's eagerly awaited directorial debut, “The Mehta Boys”, alongside Avinash Tiwary in 2025. The film narrates the story of a father-son duo who embark on an unintentional 48-hour journey, exploring conflicting viewpoints as they navigate the complexities of their strained relationship.
