Shreya Chaudhry, Star of ‘Bandish Bandits’, Credits Imtiaz Ali for Her Acting Aspirations

Mumbai, Dec 14 (NationPress) Shreya Chaudhry, who will appear in the forthcoming season of ‘Bandish Bandits’, attributes her confidence in acting to Imtiaz Ali.
“Imtiaz sir made me believe that I could be an actor! Working with him truly cemented that ambition for me. It showed me that I could aspire for greatness in this profession,” stated Shreya, referring to Imtiaz Ali’s short film ‘The Other Way!’
Throughout the years, Imtiaz has nurtured numerous emerging talents, including Triptii Dimri, Abhay Deol, Avinash Tiwary, Nargis Fakhri, and many others.
She remarked: “I will forever treasure the experience of collaborating with Imtiaz sir, as the lessons I learned during that time are genuinely priceless. I’m just hoping to be an Imtiaz Ali heroine at least once in my career.”
‘Bandish Bandits’ is a musical romantic drama series featuring newcomers Ritwik Bhowmik as Radhe Rathod, a Hindustani Classical musician, and Shreya Chaudhary as Tamanna Sharma, a pop singer, who come from contrasting musical backgrounds.
The series delves into the discussion of music as a discipline versus its role as a means of liberation. It also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Sheeba Chaddha, and Atul Kulkarni.
In addition to her role in ‘Bandish Bandits’, Shreya Chaudhry is set to appear in Boman Irani's eagerly awaited directorial debut, ‘The Mehta Boys’, alongside Avinash Tiwary in 2025. This film narrates the story of a father-son duo who embark on an unforeseen 48-hour journey, confronting conflicting viewpoints as they navigate the complexities of their strained relationship.
