Rohan Gurbaxani's Journey Comes Full Circle in ‘Bandish Bandits 2’

Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) Actor Rohan Gurbaxani, who is garnering substantial acclaim for his role in the recently launched second season of the streaming musical series ‘Bandish Bandits’, experienced a full circle moment on the show when actor Arjun Rampal made an appearance on set.
Rohan, portraying a pianist, is a newcomer to the series, and his character develops alongside Shreya Chaudhary’s lead character’s storyline. While Rohan had the opportunity to collaborate with Arjun Rampal on ‘Bandish Bandits’, it was not their first professional interaction.
Previously, Rohan worked as an Assistant Director on ‘Rock On 2’, and seeing Arjun on the set of ‘Bandish Bandits’ brought back a flood of memories for him.
He reminisced that upon spotting Arjun Rampal on set, he was instantly transported back to his college days when he became a huge admirer of Arjun after his portrayal of the iconic Joe Mascarenhas in ‘Rock On’.
He shared with IANS, “When I was in college, I interned at Excel Entertainment, and one of the shoots was for ‘Rock On 2’ in front of the Gateway Of India. Back then, I was merely an AD on his set, and now I find myself acting in front of him in this incredible series. It was truly a remarkable feeling.”
“He embodies coolness, and you can perceive it in his walk, demeanor, and voice. His charisma made me feel comfortable,” he added.
The series is produced by Still & Still Moving Pictures and directed by Anand Tiwari, known for ‘Go Goa Gone’ and ‘Bad Newz’. It delves into the discussion of music as a discipline versus a means of freedom.
