Mumbai, Jan 21 (NationPress) Actor Nitin Rao, who had the opportunity to work alongside Emraan Hashmi in the recent film Taskaree, has expressed his admiration for the Bollywood star. He noted that despite Emraan's extensive experience, he created an atmosphere that dismissed any sense of hierarchy on set.

Nitin shared, “Collaborating with Emraan Hashmi was both comfortable and enriching. From the very first day, the dynamic felt natural and unforced. Our interactions were plentiful, and the scenes we performed flowed seamlessly.”

He continued, “I felt no anxiety or reluctance, as he cultivates a serene environment. His composed and measured demeanor allowed me to remain fully engaged in the moment, enabling our performances to resonate with one another.”

Nitin has been involved in various projects, including Kaun Pravin Tambe?, Darbar alongside Rajinikanth, and Samrat Prithviraj.

When discussing why he quickly accepted the role in Taskaree, Nitin stated: “This project felt like a homecoming. Having previously collaborated with the same production house on Kaun Pravin Tambe?, there was an inherent sense of trust and familiarity. During the audition, everything aligned perfectly — both sides agreed I was suitable for the role. What thrilled me most was the stark contrast between this character and my previous roles.”

“In Kaun Pravin Tambe?, I portrayed Abhi Koravela, a real individual known for his gentle and calm nature. In Taskaree, my character is deeply embedded within Mumbai’s smuggling ring — tough, gritty, and involved in crime, where violence and execution are commonplace. This disparity genuinely fascinated me.”

He added, “It offered me an opportunity to delve into a completely different facet of my acting abilities and display my versatility, which is why I eagerly accepted the project.”

Reflecting on the emotional depth of his character, Nitin acknowledged how different it was from his true self.

He remarked, “I am quite unlike this character. In reality, I am calm, optimistic, and closely aligned with yoga and mindfulness. Portraying someone who thrives amidst chaos and violence is a stark contrast — almost a complete reversal of my personality.”

“This divergence is what excited me. I was eager to explore and challenge myself beyond my comfort zone. The positive feedback I have received thus far has been incredibly motivating, confirming that the risks were worthwhile.”
