Mumbai, Dec 28 (NationPress) Prabhas, who is set to star alongside veteran actress Zarina Wahab in 'Raja Saab', disclosed that during the dubbing sessions for the film, he often lost focus on his own scenes as he was captivated by Zarina's remarkable performance.
At the pre-release ceremony of Maruthi’s eagerly anticipated horror-comedy, the Rebel Star hailed Zarina as the true hero of 'Raja Saab'.
The 'Baahubali' star mentioned, “This narrative revolves around a grandmother and her grandson. Zarina Wahab garu portrays my grandmother in this film. While she was dubbing, I was so engrossed in her scenes that I momentarily forgot my own. I have become an admirer of her acting. Alongside me, Zarina garu is equally a hero in 'Raja Saab'.
Discussing his fellow cast members, he noted that Sanjay Dutt commands attention in close-up shots, dominating the entire scene.
“Riddhi, Malavika, and Nidhhi are three stunning actresses, and they will leave a lasting impression with their performances and screen presence,” added the 'Salaar' actor.
Prabhas shared that when he first engaged with Maruthi about the movie, he emphasized the need to create a quality entertainer.
He recounted that the film represents three years of Maruthi's hard work, stating, “The stress and responsibility of 'Raja Saab' brought tears to Maruthi garu’s eyes. When I initially met him, I expressed that most films are action-centric and we should provide our audience with a delightful movie. Therefore, we developed this project in the horror-comedy genre.”
Prabhas further commended Maruthi for his exceptional writing, exclaiming, “When it was time for the climax, I found myself admiring Maruthi garu’s writing. I was left wondering if he scripted it with a pen or a machine gun. Such a climax has not been seen even in horror-comedy films.”
