Hyderabad, Oct 10 (NationPress) Actor and director Pradeep Ranganathan, known for his string of successful films, attributes his growing fanbase to the fact that audiences connect with him personally.

During a pre-release event for his upcoming movie 'Dude', set to release on October 17 for Deepavali, Pradeep was questioned, "You might not fit the typical hero image, yet you’ve garnered a considerable following despite having only a few films to your name. Is this due to hard work or just luck?"

In response, Pradeep acknowledged the role of hard work. He reflected, "I've thought a lot lately about the affection I receive. There are many talented individuals like me. I believe people see a reflection of themselves in me. When they watch me on screen, they envision being the hero themselves, engaging in romance and action. Therefore, when they identify with me, I become their hero."

Before Pradeep could elaborate, actor Sarath Kumar chimed in, stating, "You can't define hero material strictly. Everyone in this room embodies what it means to be a hero. Anyone making a positive impact on society is a hero."

For those unfamiliar, 'Dude', directed by Keerthiswaran, features Pradeep Ranganathan alongside Mamitha Baiju, renowned for her role in the Malayalam hit 'Premalu'.

The recently released trailer portrays Pradeep as a youth deemed unworthy by his uncle (played by Sarath Kumar), showcasing their dynamic with Mamitha, who is seen supporting him in various endeavors. The trailer suggests a narrative centered on a protagonist unafraid to confront challenges, ready to stand by his choices, and infused with humor that reflects the contemporary youth mindset.

One notable scene includes Mamitha asking Pradeep, "You seem to get into many fights. Can you take on 10 people?" He confidently replies, "I could handle even 100 men."

After achieving remarkable success with his latest project 'Dragon', which became a massive blockbuster, Pradeep's next venture promises to be another significant film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

The first look poster of 'Dude' showcases Pradeep in a serious light, with a bruised face and an intense expression, gripping a Mangalsutra.

Mythri Movie Makers has assembled a talented team for this bilingual film, with cinematography handled by Niketh Bommi and editing by Barath Vikraman. 'Dude' is set to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

In addition to Pradeep, Sarath Kumar, and Mamitha Baiju, the cast includes notable actors like Rohini Molleti, Hridhu Haroon, and Dravid Selvam.

Anil Yerneni serves as the executive producer, and Poornima Ramaswamy is the costume designer for this film.
