Prateeksha Srivastava Reveals Rare In-Person Meetings with Fellow Composers Rusha and Blizza

Mumbai, Dec 12 (NationPress) Prateeksha Srivastava, the mind behind the composition of the song ‘Aankh’, which features Sunidhi Chauhan and Sanya Malhotra, revealed that she seldom has the opportunity to meet her fellow composers for the project, Rusha and Blizza, in person.
The trio conducts all their discussions through emails, video conferences, and Zoom calls.
Reflecting on her journey in creating the song, Prateeksha stated, “This journey exemplifies the strength of manifestation, particularly when it’s done on a subconscious level. While we were crafting this song, neither Rusha, Blizza, nor I had a clear idea of who would perform it. Yet, as I composed the melody and recorded the demo, Sunidhi Chauhan's voice resonated in my mind. Growing up listening to her, I consider her the ultimate representation of class, sensuality, and the commanding presence of a female voice in the music industry.”
She added that during the song's creation, they eventually presented it to her, and she loved it just as it was.
Prateeksha further shared, “She remarked, ‘I do not want any modifications.’ This marks my inaugural collaboration with Sunidhi Chauhan, and truthfully, I could not have wished for anything more. Sanya Malhotra is an absolute darling. She was incredibly dedicated, practicing consistently, even though she is already a fantastic trained dancer.”
Discussing her collaboration with Rusha and Blizza, she noted, “I have been an admirer of their work for a long time and have produced numerous tracks with them. Interestingly, we have never met in person while working on a song; our only face-to-face interaction occurred during the final mixing and recording. We create our music through video calls and Zoom sessions because they are based in Delhi while I am in Mumbai. It’s a rather unusual yet fascinating connection we share.”
“However, the synergy between us is impeccable; we have collaborated on many projects, and our musical preferences and tastes align excellently, which is evident in the making of this song,” she added.
The track ‘Aankh’, released under the banner of Warner Music India, is now available for streaming on all major platforms.
