Mumbai, Aug 31 (NationPress) Prem Sagar, the esteemed producer and cinematographer who was the son of Ramanand Sagar, has sadly passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday.

He was hospitalized at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, but was sent home on Sunday after doctors recommended his family to take him home following his discharge.

Prem Sagar honed his skills at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, graduating in 1968. He played a significant role in his father’s Sagar Arts production house, which is celebrated for producing the legendary TV show ‘Ramayan’.
