The original film, directed by P S Mithran and starring Karthi in the leading role, achieved significant success, prompting Prince Pictures to announce the sequel titled Sardar 2.
Once again helmed by director P S Mithran, Sardar 2 will feature Karthi alongside Rajisha Vijayan and Raashi Khanna in leading roles. The film's music will be composed by G V Prakash, with cinematography by George C Williams, editing by Ruben, and art direction led by K Kadhir.
Unfortunately, there have been individuals attempting to deceive both established and aspiring actors, claiming they can secure roles in the film for a fee or other benefits.
To address this situation, Prince Pictures has released a cautionary notice to alert actors and aspiring performers.
In the notice, producer Lakshman Kumar stated, “We have received reports that various known and aspiring artists are being approached by fraudsters who falsely offer acting roles in Sardar 2 in return for monetary deposits and other incentives.
“We are pursuing legal action against these individuals, and we urge all our colleagues to avoid falling victim to these criminals.
If anyone is contacted by suspicious persons regarding roles in our films, please report to Mr AP Paal Pandi - our Production Head (Contact number - 94444 82111).”
