In a reflective post, Babbar shared the deep bond they forged over the years in the film and television sector, labeling Shah's passing as a substantial personal loss that has created an empty space in his life. On Sunday, Raj took to his Instagram account to share a heartfelt image of the late actor, captioning it with, “Satish Shah ji radiated a remarkable presence. A phenomenal actor with an illustrious career, his charm and humor impacted many lives. His departure feels overwhelmingly personal as I cherish memories of his laughter and elegance. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who appreciated his artistry.”
On October 25, Satish Shah passed away in Mumbai at the age of 74. The news was shared by filmmaker Ashoke Pandit on Instagram. In a video, he revealed the circumstances surrounding the actor’s passing, stating, “I regret to announce the sad news that our dear friend, a remarkable actor, Satish Shah, has left us due to kidney failure. He fell ill at home and was rushed to Hinduja Hospital, Shivaji Park, where he succumbed. His body will be taken to his residence in Bandra.”
“I will keep you updated on the funeral details. This is an immense loss for our industry. I had the privilege of working closely with Satish. He was truly a wonderful person,” he added.
The funeral for Satish Shah was held on Sunday at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle West, Mumbai. Many actors, friends, and admirers came together to pay their respects.
