In a conversation with IANS, Rajat celebrated his comeback and shared that open lunches at the Bedi office were a common practice in the past. Coming from a rich legacy, Rajat’s father, Narendra Bedi, was a renowned filmmaker-producer, while his grandfather, Rajinder Singh Bedi, was a distinguished Urdu writer and a key figure in the progressive writers' movement.
The actor recounted, “Our home was a hub of gatherings. The entire industry would come over. For lunch, it was an open invitation for anyone in the industry to visit Mr. Bedi's office and enjoy a meal. We grew up in such a nurturing environment. My father's films, including ‘Adalat’, ‘Benam’, and ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, represent a remarkable legacy.”
Earlier, Rajat expressed admiration for his co-star from the series, Raghav Juyal. He mentioned that Raghav is a unique talent, capable of commanding the frame and outshining his co-actors.
He told IANS, “Raghav is exceptional. His journey showcases immense dedication. It was my first time collaborating with him, and although I didn’t share many scenes with him, I can confidently say he is a true talent.”
The series is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
