Mumbai, July 4 (NationPress) The highly anticipated film ‘Ramayana’, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, is making waves right from its launch. After the debut of the film's first look across nine cities in India on Thursday, this epic mythological drama is all set to illuminate the iconic Times Square in New York City.

On the previous day, the film's preview was simultaneously unveiled in major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Kochi.
This much-discussed project is supported by the renowned Namit Malhotra, an eight-time Oscar winner famed for his contributions to acclaimed films like ‘Dune’, ‘Oppenheimer’, and ‘Interstellar’.
The film's technical team boasts illustrious names such as Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, along with renowned stunt director Guy Norris, known for ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, and Terry Notary, who has worked on ‘Avengers’ and ‘Planet of the Apes’.
In ‘Ramayana’, Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi takes on the role of Mata Sita, Yash plays Ravana, Sunny Deol embodies Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey portrays Lakshman.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this ambitious project is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations and the VFX studio DNEG.

The first part of this two-part series is slated for release during Diwali 2026, while the second part is expected to hit theaters on Diwali 2027.
