In an exclusive interview with IANS, the director revealed that the film's plot draws inspiration from a friend's experiences. He explained, “The story revolves around a friend who had a love marriage. They were incredibly happy for two years, appearing to be the perfect couple. However, a seemingly trivial argument about their future child’s school escalated into a serious confrontation, ultimately leading them to court.”
Gandhi Krishna elaborated, “This incident got me reflecting on how modern relationships can fracture over minor disagreements, which inspired me to create the plot for 'Breakfast'.”
The film will focus on two couples, portrayed by Raanav and Rosmin, as well as Krithik Mohan and Amitha Ranganath. The music is composed by G V Prakash and will feature notable actors Kasthuri and Archana in key roles.
Produced by Girija Varadaraj and directed by Ar Gandhi Krishna, 'Breakfast' boasts an impressive cast including Raanav, Rosmin, Sampath Kumar, Kasturi, Krithik Mohan, and Amitha Ranganth. With music by G. V. Prakash Kumar and lyrics by Vairamuthu and Vivek, the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on April 24, distributed across Tamil Nadu by Guhan.
