Chennai, April 18 (NationPress) Actress Sachana, who gained fame through her participation in the renowned Tamil reality show 'Bigg Boss', alongside prominent Kannada actor Achyuth Kumar, has officially joined the cast of director Mathimaran Pugazhendi's upcoming movie, 'Mandaadi', starring Soori in the lead role.
On Friday, the film's producers, R S Infotainment, revealed the title, much to the excitement of fans and cinema enthusiasts. The title poster depicts a burning ship amidst the ocean.
Actor Soori took to his X timeline to unveil the title poster, stating, "Mandaadi. When the sea hides secrets, the fire narrates tales. First Look coming Tomorrow."
He further elaborated in Tamil, "When the boundless sea conceals countless secrets, only the fire can unfold its tales."
Following the title reveal, the production team confirmed that actors Sachana, Achyuth Kumar, and Ravindra Vijay have been cast in pivotal roles.
The film boasts an outstanding technical team, with G V Prakash Kumar composing the music and S R Kathir handling cinematography. Pradeep E Ragav will manage the editing, while Peter Hein oversees stunt choreography.
Soori will portray the titular character in Mandaadi, which features sound design by Prathap and visual effects managed by a team led by Harihara Suthan. Dance sequences will be choreographed by Azar.
The esteemed director Vetrimaran will serve as the creative producer for this film, produced by Elred Kumar of R S Infotainment.
