Is Salman Khan Embracing a Clean Shaven Look After Finishing ‘Galwan’?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Dec 6 (NationPress) The renowned Bollywood icon Salman Khan was recently spotted with a clean shaven look just a day after completing the filming of his much-anticipated war movie ‘Galwan’ on Saturday.
He was seen at Kalina Airport in Mumbai, accompanied by an extensive security detail. The actor took a moment to acknowledge the media present before proceeding through the security check.
Previously, Salman maintained a moustache for his role in ‘Galwan’, a look he showcased for several months while filming the reality series ‘Bigg Boss’ and during his Dabangg Tour.
After a rigorous filming schedule, it appears the star has finally found some time to relax. The season finale of ‘Bigg Boss’ is set for Sunday, coinciding with his upcoming celebration of his milestone 60th birthday on December 27, 2025.
Salman’s transformation for ‘Galwan’ marks a significant change, as he notably portrayed the grey-haired cop Chulbul Pandey from the ‘Dabangg’ series, known for his iconic moustache.
On his Instagram, Salman shared a behind-the-scenes image from the film set, depicting him peeking through the clapperboard. This image captures him in the 86th scene of the film, focusing on a close-up shot of his first take.
Dressed in combat fatigues, including a jacket adorned with insignia and layers of the older Personal Camouflage Disruptive Pattern Material (PC DPM), his character reflects the attire used during the Galwan stand-off from 2020-2021. The PC DPM was replaced by the newer New Battle Dress Uniform (NBDU), unveiled during the 74th Army Day Parade in New Delhi on January 15, 2022, developed in collaboration with NIFT.
An injury is also visible on the actor's side face in the picture he posted, captioned “#BattleOfGalwan”.
This film revolves around the Galwan stand-off between India and China, which occurred on June 15, 2020, amidst the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India.
