Chennai, Mar 15 (NationPress) The team behind director Arvind Rajagopal’s crime investigation thriller, ‘Asthram’, starring actor Shaam in the lead role, has officially declared that the much-anticipated film will premiere on March 21 this year.
The film was initially set to debut on March 7. The production team even went as far as to screen the film for the media prior to its release.
However, due to nine films being lined up for release that same weekend, the creators believed they would struggle to secure the number of screens needed to effectively showcase their film. As a result, they opted to delay the film's release without announcing a new date.
Now, the team has confirmed that the film will finally be released on March 21 this year.
The film generated excitement when its Tamil Nadu theatrical rights were acquired by Five Star, a distribution company that has recently enjoyed success with films like ‘Parking’, ‘Maharaja’, and ‘Garudan’.
Produced by Best Movies Dhana Shanmugamani, this crime-investigation thriller stars actor Shaam in the lead role, alongside model-turned-actress Niranjani as the female lead.
