Mumbai, Aug 17 (NationPress) In a recent reflection on his remarkable two-decade journey in the entertainment world, actor Sharad Malhotra described it as 'mind-blowing and superb'.
During an exclusive interview with IANS, Sharad was inquired, "Can you share your experiences throughout these twenty years? What challenges did you encounter?"
He responded by stating: "It’s been mind-blowing. There have certainly been ups and downs, but I think without those challenges, life would lack vibrancy. Failures make the sweetness of success even more pronounced."
"My life resembles a graph with peaks of success followed by dips of failure, much like everyone else. I’ve aimed to learn from both my successes and setbacks. Life is fleeting; the only truth is the present moment, as we experience now in this conversation," expressed the actor known for his role in 'Banoo Main Teri Dulhann'.
When asked about his transition from the 'chocolate boy' image to playing more mature leads, the 'Maharana Pratap' actor mentioned: "I'm unsure what 'chocolate boy' entirely signifies, but I did start with romantic roles before moving on to more intense and mature characters."
He continued: "I was fortunate to receive such opportunities, and my audience appreciated each role—whether it was romantic, serious, or heroic. I consider myself lucky to have experienced such a variety of characters."
On discussing the rise of micro-series, Sharad noted: "Galat was my initial venture into micro-series, and I’m thrilled it began with Vikram sir (Vikram Bhatt). The trend of micro and vertical series is growing in India. Gen Z enjoys it as it allows for on-the-go content consumption—be it while traveling or during breaks."
He revealed that engaging stories quickly captivate viewers.
"Galat consists of short episodes, lasting just two minutes each, totaling around 25–26 episodes. It’s edgy and innovative. I even attempted a salt-and-pepper look for the first time, which received positive feedback," he concluded.
