Mumbai, Dec 20 (NationPress) Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar, recognized for her role in ‘Mirzapur’, is joyfully commemorating the 60th anniversary of her grandparents.

On Saturday, the actress shared a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram, featuring a collage of photographs showcasing her grandparents' journey together over the decades. She captioned the image, “Aji Ajoba's 60th Anniversary”.

One of the standout images displays her grandfather delicately applying nail paint on her grandmother's feet. Shriya captioned it, “Pookie Ajoba painting Aji's nails #60thAnniversary”.

Shriya, the daughter of esteemed actors Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, gained significant acclaim through the web series ‘Mirzapur’ and has since captivated audiences with her performances in ‘Guilty Minds’, ‘Broken News’, and ‘Taaza Khabar’.

Previously, she shared a poetic reflection from her time spent in the hills, where she detailed the serene pace of winter days and the small delights they bring. On Instagram, she posted a series of pictures from her mountain retreat.

In her post, Shriya reminisced about “gaddi dogs and ginger-lemon honey tea purple flowers”, depicting the essence of tranquil mornings spent basking in the sun on quiet rooftops under expansive blue skies.

She wrote: “Notes from the hills Of gaddi dogs and winter lines, ginger-lemon honey tea and purple flowers… sunbathing on quiet rooftops under wide blue skies”.

Shriya also reflected on how postcards transform into heartfelt wishes, friendships rekindled by a warm fireplace, and the enchanting “mountain magic” that fosters inner peace.

Next, she will star in Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan. The film commenced production in August this year and signifies a reunion between Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan after 18 years, their last collaboration being in ‘Tashan’.
