Shweta's Unique Prep Rituals: Music and Fragrance in Role Preparation

Mumbai, Dec 6 (NationPress) Actress Shweta Tripathi, recognized for her performances in films like Masaan, Haraamkhor, and the series Mirzapur, has disclosed that her music playlist and a specially selected perfume are crucial in aiding her to understand and portray her roles.
Discussing her artistic approach, Shweta remarked, "Two elements significantly assist me in preparing for my character. One is my playlist, which comprises songs that evoke feelings of longing and love. I have a deep affection for love stories, and this genre captivates me immensely."
She elaborated on how music aids her in immersing herself into her character's persona.
“The music allows me to access the emotions and psyche of the character—it serves as an emotional trampoline. I align my feelings with the mood set by the music.”
Furthermore, she revealed that the second component is “perfume.”
“I always opt for a fragrance that resonates with my character's essence. Each character possesses a distinct aura, and perfumes enable me to embody their spirit on a profound level. It’s intriguing how a single scent can instantly transport you into a character's realm.”
