New Delhi, April 14 (NationPress) Renowned actress Shweta Tripathi has shared her guilty pleasures, stating that her favorite tracks currently come from the playlist of her husband, rapper and actor Chaitanya Sharma, widely known as Slow Cheeta.

“Music greatly influences my mood, so it holds significant importance for me. Frequently, my latest favorite tracks are those featured on Cheeta’s playlist,” said Shweta, who is famed for her role as Golu Gupta in “Mirzapur”, during her conversation with IANS.

She continued, “Typically, Cheeta plays some tunes during our get-togethers with friends. He assumes the role of the DJ, and everyone is busy Shazaming the songs he plays.”

For those unfamiliar, Shweta and Slow Cheeta first crossed paths during a stage performance in New Delhi and ended up sharing a flight back to Mumbai, which sparked their romance. They tied the knot in 2018.

Discussing her culinary preferences, Shweta, who garnered attention with her powerful performance in “Masaan” in 2015, expressed that she isn’t a fan of dining out.

“I have a preference for home-cooked meals. Honestly, my desire for restaurant food has diminished significantly. I truly enjoy homemade dishes,” she shared.

When asked about her binge-watching habits, she said, “I’ve started rewatching Suits, and I absolutely adore it. There’s one character, Louis, whose presence I find particularly enjoyable.”

Additionally, she mentioned watching The Truman Show, an older film featuring Jim Carrey, and stated, “I’ve seen Crazy, Stupid, Love several times, and I plan to watch it again today. I admire Steve Carell and of course, Ryan Gosling. Who wouldn’t?”

The actress, recognized for her contributions to “Mirzapur”, “Masaan”, “Raat Akeli Hai”, “Cargo”, and “Haramkhor”, announced her debut home-production film in March, which will focus on a women-led queer love story.

Her recent appearance was in the film “Kanjoos Makhichoos”, directed by Vipul Mehta. The movie is adapted from the popular Gujarati play Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo and features Kunal Khemu, Shweta Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Alka Amin, Rajeev Gupta, and Raju Srivastava.
