The actor confirmed his return to the sets by sharing a candid photograph on his Instagram Stories on Saturday, which showed him in a deep discussion with director Vetrimaran on the film's set. Sources close to the production confirmed that shooting had actually resumed from Friday, marking a significant milestone for one of Tamil cinema's most-watched projects.

The production of 'Arasan' had come to an abrupt halt due to a well-publicised financial dispute between actor Simbu and prominent Tamil film producer Ishari K Ganesh.
