Sobhita Dhulipala Celebrates Her Backpacking Days with a Banjara Tribute

Mumbai, December 17 (NationPress) Newlywed Sobhita Dhulipala has recently honored her 'backpacking days' with a tribute themed around Banjara, which has been pivotal in shaping her persona.
On Tuesday, the actress posted a collection of photos from one of her pre-wedding celebrations, showcasing her in a Sabyasachi lehenga. In these images, she radiates grace in a handcrafted bagru multi-panel ‘chotu lehenga’, drawing inspiration from Sabyasachi's archives. The skirt is beautifully adorned with antique zardozi and hand-painted mirror borders, complemented by a hand-woven cotton dupatta and the brand’s signature blouse.
In her post, Sobhita shared, “Snapshots from a hazy night in Vizag (We called it Young People’s Party / YPP. Lol) A Banjara themed homage to my backpacking adventures that have fundamentally influenced who I am. Archival Sabya for the bohemian spirit I felt acknowledged. Beheld.”
The renowned designer Sabyasachi also shared images of Sobhita, detailing her attire.

For her wedding, Sobhita chose a traditional saree complemented by matching jewelry. The groom, Naga Chaitanya, wore a pancha (a traditional dhoti drape) for the ceremony.
Naga and Sobhita exchanged vows on December 4 in a stunning ceremony at Annapurna Studios, surrounded by their family and friends.
This wedding took place at Annapurna Studios, a venue of great significance to Naga Chaitanya’s family. Founded in 1976 by his legendary grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, this expansive 22-acre property in Banjara Hills has long symbolized cinematic brilliance and family heritage.
