Mumbai, Nov 6 (NationPress) Actress Sonam Khan has shared a nostalgic glimpse into her early career in the film industry, specifically recalling her first bikini shoot alongside the legendary Rishi Kapoor.

Khan, who appeared with the late icon in the film “Vijay,” reminisced about the blend of nerves and excitement that defined this significant milestone in her acting journey. In a recent post on Instagram, Sonam took a heartfelt look back at her inaugural day of shooting for Yash Chopra’s “Vijay.” She expressed her anxiety about facing the camera for the first time, especially since the scene required her to wear a bikini, filmed at the picturesque Madh Island. Gratefully, she acknowledged Yash Chopra and Rishi Kapoor for their support in making her feel at ease during the shoot.

Sonam also mentioned the possibility of facing online criticism for sharing the video, but emphasized that she has no regrets. She explained that her motivation for taking on the project was to support her parents and felt immense pride for the bravery she showed at that time.

In her post, Sonam Khan wrote, “Reflecting on my first day of shooting for Vijay... I was quite nervous. It was my first time facing the camera, and I was wearing a bikini for the scene, which was shot on Madh Island. Thankfully, everything went well, thanks to Yash ji and Rishi Kapoor Sir.”

She continued, “Maybe I will get trolled for sharing this reel or maybe not, but I don’t mind, as I was working to support my parents. I was indeed a very brave girl to do my first shoot, especially in a bikini. When I saw this reel today, I just patted myself on the back for being who I was then and who I am today—completely and unapologetically myself. Whether people judge me or not is their prerogative!
