Mumbai, June 1 (NationPress) Renowned filmmaker Subhash Ghai holds dear his remarkable 60-year friendship with the esteemed actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, which traces back to their days at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and their first film, Kalicharan, released in 1976.
Reflecting on a delightful dinner at Shatrughan’s residence, Subhash shared a moment when his son, Luv, captured their picture, emphasizing their enduring connection despite their distinct career trajectories.
Subhash expressed: “It was a joyful occasion last night when LUV SINHA, son of our beloved Poonam Sinha and SHATRUGHAN SINHA, took our photograph during a dinner with friends (sic).”
He continued: “SHATRUGHAN SINHA, my dear friend since our FTII days—through the challenging years in show business—we made our first film KALICHARAN and paved our paths to success. Our families remain close even today. Though his passion led him to politics while mine directed me towards filmmaking and education, we still gather on all occasions after 60 years with our wonderful families (sic).”
