Mumbai, Feb 28 (NationPress) As her film “Thappad” marked its fifth anniversary in Hindi cinema, actress Taapsee Pannu commemorated the occasion by stating “some associations mark the start of conversations” and inquired of filmmaker Anubhav Sinha “what next”.
Taapsee shared a moment on her Instagram, posting a photo with Sinha, who directed “Thappad”, which debuted in 2020. In the snapshot, the actress is seen with her back to the camera, holding a script while engaging in dialogue with the director across from her.

The film, which features Pavail Gulati and Dia Mirza, narrates the tale of a woman named Amrita, who enjoys a fulfilling life with her husband, Vikram. Their joy is abruptly disrupted when he slaps her at an office gathering, leading her to seek a divorce.
Taapsee's upcoming project is the action film “Gandhari”, where she performs her own stunts, reportedly excelling in the action scenes.

“Gandhari” is the second project produced under Kanika Dhillon's banner Kathha Pictures after the success of the mystery drama “Do Patti”, with acclaimed director Devashish Makhija, known for films like “Bhonsle” and “Joram”, at the helm.
Taapsee was last seen in “Khel Khel Mein”, directed by Mudassar Aziz, which also features Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal.
