Mumbai, Oct 7 (NationPress) In her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift disclosed that she chose not to mention her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce during Selena Gomez's wedding, as she wished to keep the focus on the stunning bride.

During a segment where Swift responded to rumors, host Jimmy Fallon inquired if she told Gomez at her wedding, "You beat me to the altar."

Swift replied with a "no," elaborating, "I did give a speech, but I made it a point not to bring up my engagement. No one wants to hear, 'Hey, I know this is your wedding day but—'"

While showing her ring with a raised hand, she added, "I was like, 'Don't mention it.'"

In her speech, Swift reminisced about their fashion choices back in 2008, the year she met Gomez.

She noted that Gomez's favorite outfit then consisted of a very long tank top, skinny jeans, and a tiny vest.

Swift humorously remarked, "It was the year of deep, deep V-necks. It was the year of aggressively colorful skinny jeans…"

"Selena — her favorite outfit back then was a very long tank top, skinny jeans, but a tiny little vest… I always looked like I was late for the cowboy-themed junior prom. So I talked a little bit about 2008, how delighted I am for her, how beautiful it has been to be a part of her journey. But I did not center it around myself," she concluded.

Swift also showcased her stunning engagement ring during The Tonight Show, stating, "I look at it constantly; it doesn’t feel normal for me in any way."
