Chennai, Sep 2 (NationPress) Actor Teja Sajja has revealed that his upcoming film Mirai will diverge from typical action sequences found in many films. Instead, it will showcase high-speed action stunts, with Sajja performing all the stunts himself, without the aid of body doubles.
During a media interaction in Chennai, Sajja discussed the film's action scenes, which have generated buzz among fans, especially following the release of a Behind The Scenes video that highlighted the intense training he underwent to portray a Super Yodha.
In response to inquiries about the action style, Sajja stated, "We aimed for fast-paced action in this film. You won’t see the typical slow-motion effects here."
He elaborated, "The stunts are designed for rapid execution. We brought in experts Ketcha master and Nang master from Thailand, where I trained for nearly 20 days for my role."
Importantly, Sajja confirmed that every stunt seen on screen was performed by him personally, with no body doubles involved.
"While our resources were limited, our ambitions were grand. We aspired to create something that feels international. We traveled to the Himalayas, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and other stunning locations. All the action sequences, including those involving trains, are authentic. We avoided shooting on green screens and opted for genuine settings," he added.
Following his success with the pan-Indian blockbuster HanuMan, Teja Sajja is set to make an impact with Mirai. This action-packed project is produced by the renowned People Media Factory, with Karthik Gattamaneni as director.
Backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Mirai is anticipated to revolutionize the superhero genre.
The film stars Manoj Manchu as the formidable antagonist, alongside Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu in significant roles.
Interestingly, Karthik Gattamaneni serves as both the director and cinematographer for Mirai. The screenplay is also penned by him, with contributions from Manibabu Karanam on dialogue. The film's vibrant world is crafted with meticulous detail by art director Sri Nagendra Tangala, while Sujith Kumar Kolli assists as Executive Producer.
Produced by People Media Factory, known for hits like Karthikeya 2 and Jaat, Mirai represents a significant step in their Pan-India expansion. The teaser has already captivated audiences with its stunning visuals and ambitious cinematic scale, hinting at a record number of VFX shots.
Set to release worldwide on September 12, Mirai will be available in eight languages and in both 2D and 3D formats.
