Chennai, Sep 6 (NationPress) Actor Teja Sajja, who stars in the highly anticipated pan-Indian film 'Mirai' directed by Karthik Gattamaneni, has revealed that they filmed segments of the movie in temperatures plunging to an astonishing minus 18 degrees.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Teja shared, "We captured pivotal scenes in the Himalayas. The cold was unbearable, dropping to minus 18 degrees."

Teja elaborated on the challenges of the biting cold, saying, "Even with boots and multiple layers, including thermals, every step felt like a thousand needles jabbing at my feet."

The crew endured three grueling days in the freezing conditions. The film has ignited substantial excitement among fans and cinema enthusiasts alike.

Teja Sajja is set to make waves with Mirai, following his success in the blockbuster 'Hanu-Man'. This film, produced by the esteemed People Media Factory, is crafted on an epic scale under the guidance of Karthik Gattamaneni.

Financed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Mirai is expected to redefine the superhero genre.

Notably, Manoj Manchu portrays the formidable villain, while Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu take on significant roles.

Karthik not only directs Mirai but also serves as its cinematographer. The screenplay, penned by Karthik, includes contributions from Manibabu Karanam for writing and dialogues. The film's rich visual presentation is thanks to Sri Nagendra Tangala, who oversees the art department, with Sujith Kumar Kolli acting as the Executive Producer.

Produced by People Media Factory, known for hits like Karthikeya 2 and Jaat, Mirai is poised to be a bold stride in the studio's Pan-India ambitions. The teaser has already showcased breathtaking visuals and grand cinematic scope, with reports indicating a record number of VFX shots.

Scheduled to premiere globally on September 12, Mirai will be available in eight languages, offered in both 2D and 3D formats.
