Mumbai, Jan 1 (NationPress) The motion poster for the highly awaited film 'Deva', starring Shahid Kapoor as the main character, was released on Wednesday. The poster captures Shahid's portrayal of a police officer smoking a cigarette, gazing at the camera with a touch of eccentricity.
Shahid, with a cigarette in hand, emanates undeniable charisma and a rugged demeanor, showcasing strength and attitude. The poster’s allure is magnified by the background featuring the legendary Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan from the 1970s, adding depth and a captivating sense of nostalgia.
The fusion of Shahid’s striking appearance with Bachchan’s formidable presence creates anticipation for what is expected to be a gripping cinematic journey. Shahid's powerful performance is being looked forward to with great eagerness.
Previously, the actor discussed the film on the green carpet at this year’s IIFA, stating, “It’s an action-packed film, promising plenty of excitement. There’s also a thrilling aspect, keeping you guessing until the very end. I portray an extremely aggressive character. It’s a vibrant film, designed to energize the audience, especially if we release the right teaser and trailer. It hits theaters on February 14 next year, and I am excited for the audience’s response.”
The cast also includes Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati, with reports suggesting that Pavail takes on the role of another police officer.
The film is directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.
'Deva' is being hailed as the first major release of the year, set to premiere on January 31, 2025.
