Chennai, Dec 25 (NationPress) The production team behind the highly anticipated spiritual supernatural thriller 'Trikanda', directed by Mani Thellaguti and starring Mahendran and Shraddha Das, is contemplating a release date of January 23 next year.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, producer Srinivas revealed that filming took place in both Chennai and Hyderabad over approximately 60 to 70 days.

When inquired about the release date, producer Srinivas stated, "We are leaning towards January 23 for the release. Our primary audience consists of devout followers of God, many of whom embark on a spiritual journey to Sabarimala to offer their prayers. Our aim is to time the release for when they return, thus January 23 is currently under consideration, though nothing is confirmed yet."

The film's trailer was recently unveiled at the Prasad Lab in Chennai, attracting media attention.

Beginning with intense scenes showcasing dark powers, a voiceover ominously warns, "We wage a war for it to dawn. But the war waged by this demon of darkness is to prevent dawn from arriving forever."

As visuals of the faithful cowering in fear unfold, a voice laments, "What we hoped shouldn't happen... What we feared falling into the hands of that person... has now reached him. The world teeters on the brink of destruction. Is there no way to avert this calamity?"

The trailer then introduces Mahendran with thrilling action scenes. It reveals that Shraddha Das plays a psychiatrist dealing with complex cases, believing one patient suffers from bipolar disorder, unaware he is actually under malevolent influence. The trailer suggests a fierce confrontation between good and evil.

Alongside Shraddha Das and Master Mahendran, the film features actors Ajay, Sahithi Avancha, Nandha Durairaj, and Amani in significant roles. Other cast members include Sahithi Avancha, Sai Dheena, Robo Shankar, Rowdy Rohini, ETV Prabhakar, Ambati Arjun, spyder snjay, and Kalloori Vinoth.

The film showcases an impressive technical crew, with cinematography by Pavan Chenna, music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Shajith Humayun, art direction led by C.S. Saimani, lyrics written by Mutamil and Vivek, and action sequences choreographed by Anji, Nandu, Venkat Diamond, and Shanker. Dance choreography has been managed by Suchitra Chandrabose.

The film, produced by Radhika Srinivas, is presented by Rithvik Vetsha.
