Chennai, March 20 (NationPress) According to industry insiders, the much-anticipated Telugu spiritual supernatural thriller 'Trikaala', directed by Mani Thellaguti and starring Mahendran and Shraddha Das, is set to premiere on April 24 this year.

Initially, the filmmakers aimed for a January release, but they have now rescheduled the launch of this film, known as 'Trikanda' in Tamil, for April 24.

During an exclusive interview with IANS last year, producer Srinivas revealed that filming took place in Chennai and Hyderabad over approximately 60 to 70 days.

When questioned about the film's release date, producer Srinivas stated, "We were considering a release on January 23 next year, targeting devout God believers. Many of them embark on a holy journey to Sabarimala for prayers. We wish to release the film after their return. Currently, we are eyeing January 23, but nothing is finalized yet."

Anticipation heightened after the trailer was unveiled, showcasing gripping scenes that depict dark forces exerting their powers. A voiceover ominously declares, "We wage a war for it to dawn. But the war waged by this demon of darkness is to prevent dawn from arriving forever."

Visuals follow, showing the faithful terrified as dark forces prevail. A distressed voice laments, "What we hoped shouldn't happen... What we feared would fall into the hands of that person... has now reached him. The entire world is on the brink of destruction. Is there no way to avert this impending calamity?"

Actor Mahendran is introduced through thrilling action scenes, while Shraddha Das portrays a psychiatrist handling complex cases. Amidst the supernatural conflict between good and evil, her character mistakenly believes a patient suffers from bipolar disorder, while he is actually under the influence of malevolent forces. The trailer suggests a gripping narrative centered around an intense struggle between good and evil.

Alongside Shraddha Das and Mahendran, the cast includes Ajay, Sahithi Avancha, Nandha Durairaj, and Amani in crucial roles. Additional cast members include Sahithi Avancha, Sai Dheena, Robo Shankar, Rowdy Rohini, ETV Prabhakar, Ambati Arjun, spyder snjay, and Kalloori Vinoth.

The film boasts an outstanding technical crew, with cinematography by Pavan Chenna. The music score is crafted by Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Shajith Humayun, while art direction is led by C.S. Saimani. Lyrics for the songs have been written by Mutamil and Vivek. The film's action sequences are choreographed by Anji, Nandu, Venkat Diamond, and Shanker, with dance sequences choreographed by Suchitra Chandrabose.

Produced by Radhika Srinivas, the film is presented by Rithvik Vetsha.
