Vedang Raina Remembers Escorting Alia Bhatt at His School Event

Mumbai, Dec 17 (NationPress) Actor Vedang Raina, recently featured in the film ‘Jigra’, fondly recalled a significant moment from his school days. He shared that during his time in the student council, he had the honor of escorting Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt, with whom he later appeared in ‘Jigra’, at a school function.

The actor returned to his former school in the Vile Parle neighborhood of Mumbai as a distinguished guest for its annual sports day on Tuesday. He was filled with nostalgia as he traversed the familiar hallways of his educational institution. During the event, Vedang Raina expressed his heartfelt appreciation for revisiting those cherished school memories.

While sharing the story, the actor remarked to IANS, “I cannot adequately express how amazing it feels to be back at my school. I spent some of the most wonderful years here, creating memories that I will treasure for a lifetime. One of my many cherished moments is that, during my early school years, I was part of the student council, a dream many students aspire to, including myself.”

He also added, “At that time, I had the joy of escorting Alia Bhatt, who was the chief guest that year. Over the years, I worked diligently, and finally, I starred in ‘Jigra’ this year alongside Alia. Dreams can become reality if you have faith in them and are willing to work hard.”

Vedang made his debut in acting with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies', where he played the character Reggie Mantle. Following its success, he made his big-screen appearance alongside Alia Bhatt in 'Jigra'. His youthful charm and ability to connect with audiences have left fans eager for more of his performances.
