Chennai, Feb 28 (NationPress) Renowned Tamil actor Vimal expressed his preference for being recognized as a hero with a kind heart over that of a "mass hero." He stated that he would find it fulfilling if God continues to position him such that he can provide a reasonable profit to the producers who have placed their trust in him by investing in his films.

During the audio launch of his upcoming action-packed film 'Vadam', Vimal shared these sentiments. He referenced comments made by director Moorthy, who praised the film's quality and suggested that Vimal would soon be recognized as a "mass" hero post-release. Vimal countered, stating, "I do not aspire to be a mass hero. To be regarded as a hero with a good heart is sufficient for me. I am aware of my own strengths."

He further emphasized that it is enough for him if God allows him to continue generating profits for the producers who have faith in his work.

For context, the high-octane action drama 'Vadam', featuring Vimal in the lead role, is directed by Kenthiran V and produced by Masani Pictures.

The film's trailer was recently unveiled, showcasing Vimal as a bull owner whose magnificent bull participates in the traditional sport of Jallikattu. The trailer also depicts an elderly man seeking assassins for a killing. He is shown asking for individuals capable of executing a man, to which one potential assassin inquires about the target's identity. A series of failed assassination attempts follow.

The elderly man who initially sought out the assassins continues to question their capabilities, stating, "These individuals do not appear competent. Can they accomplish the task?" More action sequences ensue, revealing that a local headman prioritizes his duties to the town and its ten villages.

In various action scenes, Vimal articulates that those motivated by greed may retreat, but those acting out of honor will stand firm.

At one point, the instigator of the assassination is heard declaring, "There is no need for stealth; confront him directly and kill him."

This action-packed thriller will feature an ensemble cast, including Nataraj (Natty), Sanashka Sri, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Aadukalam Naren, Madhusudhan Rao, Deepa Shankar, and Indumathy Manikandan.

Produced by Rajasekar R, the film's music is composed by D Imman, with cinematography handled by Prasanna S Kumar. Editing duties are managed by Sabu Joseph VJ, while art direction is overseen by V. Sasikumar.

Stunts are choreographed by G.N. Murugan, with dance sequences directed by Dinesh, Dheena, and Santhosh. Co-direction credits go to P A Shanmugam.

The film is set to release on March 6 of this year.
