New Delhi, July 9 (NationPress) Actor Zain Durrani, preparing for the launch of his upcoming film “Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan,” revealed that one of the most difficult aspects for him during this project was being selected at the very last moment.
Discussing the challenges he faced while working on ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’, Zain shared with IANS: “The most challenging part was that I was finalized quite literally at the last minute, just 5 days before filming began. However, overcoming this hurdle was not as daunting because I had already connected with the character after the audition.”
The actor, known for his roles in films like Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy, Bell Bottom, and Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, expressed his excitement about collaborating with Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey.
“Vikrant is an experienced actor who has made a significant impact in the industry. Despite his success, he remains grounded and approachable,” Zain remarked.
On Shanaya, he noted: “She’s a newcomer who already has considerable public attention, which brings its own pressure. Yet, she’s humble and eager to learn, making her a pleasure to work with.”
Zain’s motivation for accepting the role in “Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan” stems from his desire to explore the love story genre again. “I have wanted to return to a love story for some time. It was the genre that first captivated me, and that’s exactly what AKG delivers,” he explained.
Directed by Santosh Singh, 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan' features Shanaya opposite Vikrant Massey. This upcoming romantic comedy is inspired by Ruskin Bond’s cherished short story, “The Eyes Have It.” It is produced by Zee Studios and Mini Films, with Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla at the helm.
Set to premiere on July 11, the film marks the second collaboration between Mini Films and Vikrant Massey, following their earlier joint effort on the remake of “Forensic.”
