Zendaya Experienced Heat Stroke While Filming 'Dune: Part 2'
Los Angeles, Jan 4 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Zendaya revealed that she suffered from heat stroke during the filming of her movie 'Dune: Part 2'.

Los Angeles, Jan 4 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Zendaya disclosed that she faced a heat stroke while on the set of her film 'Dune: Part 2'.

The actress expressed that she was so concerned about removing her full-body costume to use the bathroom while shooting the sci-fi movie in the desert of Jordan that she chose to limit her water intake, which led to her heatstroke, according to reports from ‘Female First UK’.

In her conversation with W Magazine, she shared, "We were in Jordan. It was incredibly hot, and I distinctly remember thinking, 'Oh, man, the bathrooms are so far away,' as we had to trek to the filming locations. If you needed to urinate, it would take at least 10 minutes to get out of the costume. I thought, 'Damn, I don’t want to drink too much water.' I was genuinely afraid of having an accident in the suit on set.”

She continued, “One particular day, I didn’t hydrate adequately and ended up with heatstroke. I felt nauseous. I remember lying on the bathroom floor, calling my mom, saying, 'I feel awful.' She asked, 'Did you drink any water today?' I replied no. I thought I was being clever, but that’s not the right approach. So, I learned my lesson.”

As noted by ‘Female First UK’, in the film based on Frank Herbert's novel, Zendaya portrays Chani, a Fremen warrior who dons a stillsuit, a full-body outfit designed to recycle waste for hydration in the desert.

Previously, Zendaya commented on the costume to Total Film, saying, "The suits are not optimal. I wish they were real.”

“I wish they had a cooling system, could convert our bodily fluids back into water, and allowed us to relieve ourselves in them. But unfortunately, that's not possible,” she added.

Additionally, the actress’s boyfriend Tom Holland has highlighted the advantages of working alongside her. The couple has appeared in three 'Spider-Man' films and will be on film sets for much of 2025, starring in a fourth 'Spider-Man' movie and in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming project.
