Midnapore, March 19 (NationPress) The Jan Aushadhi Kendras, initiated under the Prime Minister Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), are revolutionizing the lives of individuals nationwide by offering affordable and low-cost medicines to all segments of society.

Families from the lower and middle-income brackets are especially benefiting from this ambitious initiative by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the district of Midnapore (West) in West Bengal, the establishment of Jan Aushadhi Kendras has elicited smiles among residents, who now have access to more affordable medications.

They are enthusiastic about participating in the PM-BJP scheme and are expressing their appreciation to the government for this opportunity.

Numerous Janaushadhi Kendras are supplying both medicines and medical support to local citizens at reasonable prices.

Tarun Kumar Pal, a pharmacist and owner of a Jan Aushadhi Kendra, shared with IANS that patrons frequently comment on the high quality of the medicines available.

He noted that hundreds visit his Kendra daily, often bringing friends and family members to take advantage of the services offered.

“Customers are providing positive feedback about the Jan Aushadhi Kendra. They find the medicines to be both valuable and economical. Many state that their physicians have recommended purchasing medications from Jan Aushadhi Kendras,” he remarked.

Sourabh Ghosh, a regular customer, mentioned that he has been obtaining medicines from this outlet for the past four years, often at a significantly lower price than conventional market rates.

“It would be excellent if more such pharmacies opened; this is my appeal to the Central government,” he told IANS.

Another customer, Prashant Shirmani, commented that the prices of medications are substantially lower than other outlets, and their quality is comparable to branded alternatives.

Launched in November 2016, the PMBJP aims to transform the healthcare landscape by making essential healthcare services accessible to all citizens through high-quality generic medicines available at dedicated outlets.
