Bhopal, Nov 28 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel emphasized the necessity for the office bearers of the Red Cross to maintain the utmost levels of integrity and transparency while serving the community.

The Governor made these remarks at the oath-taking ceremony of the newly established managing committee and office bearers of the Madhya Pradesh state branch of the Indian Red Cross Society in Bhopal on Friday.

He highlighted that there is no greater noble deed than aiding the poor, destitute, deprived, and suffering humanity. "This sacred opportunity they have received should be utilized, through their knowledge, skills, and efforts, to elevate the dignity of the Red Cross," he stated.

Governor Patel pointed out that the Red Cross foundation has evolved into a beacon of hope, relief, and security for the vulnerable and needy, and the newly elected executive body must keep this in mind.

He stated, "Special efforts should be made to ensure the availability of modern medical facilities and resources, and to secure the involvement of both private and public institutions in the treatment and care for humanity."

While speaking at the event, he also mentioned that the young generation should be motivated to participate actively and sensitively in various projects aimed at humanitarian service.

Patel further remarked that the new executive body of the Red Cross Society of Madhya Pradesh is anticipated to set new standards for the state unit in the esteemed tradition of humanitarian service.

Emphasizing the significance of the Red Cross, he urged that it is a remarkable initiative committed to human service and called upon its members to uphold the organization’s mission by aiding those in need.

Governor Patel urged that identified patients should be treated with utmost sensitivity and called upon members to make personal efforts to support children and families affected by sickle cell.
