Kabul, Feb 2 (NationPress) Authorities have seized a cache of weapons and ammunition from a vehicle and apprehended two suspected smugglers in the eastern province of Paktia, according to a statement released by the provincial police office on Monday.

The confiscated armaments, which comprised a Kalashnikov assault rifle, two hand grenades, and a significant amount of ammunition, were discovered during a routine checkpoint inspection on a roadway on Sunday afternoon, the report indicated.
