Dhaka, Oct 20 (NationPress) The Awami League of Bangladesh has accused the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus of planning arson attacks throughout the nation, claiming these acts are part of a wider conspiracy aimed at disrupting ordinary lives and destabilizing the economy.

This accusation follows a series of significant fires in Dhaka and the port city of Chattogram, which has raised alarm among experts regarding Bangladesh's safety standards and its readiness for emergencies.

In a strong denunciation of the Yunus administration, the Awami League stated, "The illegal usurper and murderous fascist Yunus faction is intentionally and methodically leading a well-organized Bangladesh toward ruin. They have transformed the lives of citizens into a nightmare. Recently, numerous fires have erupted due to the negligence and apathy of this illegitimate, irresponsible government towards the populace."

The Awami League expressed condolences to the victims of the catastrophic fires, wishing a swift recovery for the injured and expressing sympathy for those who have experienced losses.

Highlighting their concerns, the party remarked that the "illegal usurper" Yunus government has shown a blatant lack of responsibility towards the people, remaining utterly indifferent.

The Awami League contended that the fires were a direct result of the negligence exhibited by the Yunus-led interim government, which displayed clear carelessness and disorganization in firefighting efforts and in mitigating the impact of the blazes.

Furthermore, they accused the interim government of politicizing the fatalities, pointing out significant discrepancies between eyewitness accounts and official reports. The Awami League further charged that the interim government is attempting to shift the blame onto their party to mask their own failures.

"Ultimately, the core objective of this illegal usurper, murderous fascist Yunus group is to dismantle the country and its economy. They aim to keep the nation in turmoil and create opportunities for foreign powers to exert influence. Their intentions are to thwart Bangladesh from achieving full recognition as a middle-income nation. They wish to obliterate the accomplishments made under Sheikh Hasina's leadership and deny the people their benefits," asserted the Awami League.

Condemning the hostile actions of the Yunus regime, the party asserted that many leaders from this illegal government hold foreign passports and are managing the nation according to directives from their "foreign masters."

"If the country faces destruction, they will relocate to safer havens. We must safeguard our nation. If necessary, we should be willing to sacrifice everything. Therefore, we urge the populace to unite against these anti-national activities," the Awami League emphasized.
