Los Angeles, Oct 22 (NationPress) Emphasizing the strong friendship between India and the United States and celebrating cultural unity, the Los Angeles City Hall held a remarkable event for the Indian diaspora and the Consulate General of India during the auspicious Diwali festival.
The festivities included the lighting of traditional lamps, captivating music and dance performances, along with the presentation of the Diwali proclamation.
Welcoming India’s newly appointed Consul General in Los Angeles, K.J. Srinivasa, city council members Nithya Raman, John Lee, and Tim McOsker were present, along with former Los Angeles Mayor and US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti.
