Monrovia, June 1 (NationPress) An All-Party Delegation, under the leadership of Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde, has touched down in Monrovia, Liberia, during the early hours of Sunday (Indian time). This pivotal diplomatic visit seeks to underscore India's firm position against Pakistan-backed terrorism.
Upon their arrival, the delegation received a warm welcome from Ambassador Manoj Bihari Verma, along with key Liberian officials, such as Sekou S. Kanneh, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Prince A. Toles, a member of the House of Representatives.
"The All-Party Delegation, led by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shrikant Eknath Shinde, has arrived in Monrovia, Liberia. Amb Manoj Bihari Verma, H.E. Sekou S. Kanneh, Representative & Chairman of Executive, and H.E. Prince A. Toles, Representative of the House of Representatives of Liberia, have welcomed the delegation," announced the Indian Embassy in Liberia via a post on X.
This visit, scheduled from May 31 to June 2, will involve high-level discussions with significant figures, including the President of Liberia, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President Pro-Tempore of the Senate, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, dialogues with influential think tanks and media representatives are also on the agenda to promote understanding and collaboration.
This delegation forms part of India's ongoing initiative under Operation Sindoor, reaffirming India's unwavering commitment against terrorism. Their mission is to send a powerful message of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its manifestations, highlighting the need for global solidarity.

Previously, on Saturday, the delegation completed a successful visit to Sierra Leone, urging coordinated action at the United Nations Security Council, Financial Action Task Force (FATF), and other international platforms to combat terrorism and uphold global peace.
During a meeting with the delegates, Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh of Sierra Leone reiterated his country's solidarity with India and condemned the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, expressing condolences for the 26 innocent lives that were lost.
