Mumbai, May 17 (NationPress) Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde on Saturday expressed his sincere appreciation to the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for selecting him to spearhead one of the all-party delegations destined for significant partner nations to showcase India's unwavering commitment to fighting terrorism.
This initiative follows the tragic terror incident on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of 26 innocent individuals and involved two terrorists from Pakistan.
Shinde emphasized that the delegation aims to explicitly communicate India's zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and expose Pakistan's ongoing support for terror factions operating from its territory.
These remarks come as the Indian government prepares to send seven bipartisan delegations to major global capitals as part of its diplomatic response.
In a post on X, Shinde stated, "Nation Always First..!! As part of 'Operation Sindoor' and India's continuous efforts to tackle cross-border terrorism, seven all-party delegations are planned to visit key partner nations, including members of the United Nations Security Council, later this month."
