Israeli Drone Executes 'Cautionary' Strike in Southern Lebanon

Jerusalem, Nov 28 (NationPress) The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it had executed a drone strike in southern Lebanon on Thursday morning, labeling it as a cautionary shot.

This event signifies the first reported drone strike following the initiation of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah that came into effect early Wednesday.

The IDF indicated that a number of suspects, some of whom were in vehicles, entered regions in southern Lebanon, thereby breaching the ceasefire accord. Consequently, the military fired a warning shot near a vehicle in the Markaba area, intending to deter it without inflicting harm.

"The IDF remains actively present in southern Lebanon and will rigorously enforce any violations of the ceasefire agreement," stated the report, as cited by Xinhua news agency.

Reports from Lebanese media indicated that at least two individuals sustained injuries due to the strike.
