Johannesburg, Nov 23 (NationPress) Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Sunday conveyed her support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, emphasizing her resolve to collaborate in the fight against terrorism.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), PM Meloni expressed her solidarity with India regarding the recent terror attack in Delhi and reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to jointly tackle the challenges posed by terrorism.

Both leaders endorsed the ‘India-Italy Joint Initiative to Counter Financing of Terrorism’, aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in combating terrorism and fostering collaboration in international platforms including the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Global Counter Terrorism Forum (GCTF).
