During his visit, the Union Minister also attended a briefing on Bhutan's unique development philosophy, Gross National Happiness (GNH), and the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) initiative, which emphasizes sustainable and comprehensive growth.
Additionally, he explored the Buddha Dordenma statue and Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park in Thimphu, showcasing Bhutan's rich cultural and natural legacy.
Union Minister Khattar is also expected to interact with the Indian diaspora in Bhutan, which has significantly contributed to reinforcing the cordial relations between the two nations.
India and Bhutan maintain robust bilateral relations founded on mutual trust, shared values, and extensive cooperation across various sectors.
This visit aims to further enhance engagement in development, urban affairs, and interpersonal connections.
Earlier, during his trip, Union Minister Khattar also visited Wangdue Phodrang Dzong.
