Melbourne Stabbing Incident Leaves Two Seriously Wounded

Sydney, Dec 8 (NationPress) Two men have sustained serious injuries following a stabbing incident in the northwest region of Melbourne, according to a report by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on Sunday.
Authorities in the Australian state of Victoria indicated that a group of males confronted and purportedly attacked an 18-year-old outside a shopping center located on Lake Street in Caroline Springs, situated approximately 20 kilometers northwest of central Melbourne, at around midnight on Saturday, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
The 18-year-old victim was stabbed and subsequently transported to the hospital in serious condition.
According to Victoria Police, the group of attackers fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle and proceeded down the street before allegedly assaulting another individual and stealing his phone.
The 22-year-old second victim also suffered significant stab injuries and has been hospitalized.
Police detectives have launched an investigation into these violent incidents and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
